Taryn 
Director

​Ms Taryn discovered her love for teaching preschool while exploring electives in high school. As soon as she graduated she began working as a teachers aide while going to DVC and getting her ECE units. She completed her BA in Liberal Arts at Cal State East Bay.
​
Ms Taryn lives is Alameda with her husband, two children  and mini dachshund. She enjoys dancing, hiking, camping, and Skiing.

​Hello! My name is Brianna. I am excited to be a part of the JB team. I have my associates of science in early childhood education and have been working in childcare centers since I graduated in 2019. My passion is to learn and connect with each child. I believe it's our job to honor them as their unique individual self and collaborate with families to give children the foundation to grow in this diverse world. I am a mom, a plant mom, and in my free time I love being with my loved ones.

Ms Neenah
Penguin Teacher

Ms. Neenah graduated from Los Medanos College in 2020 with an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education. She spent many hours in the Child Study Center during her years at LMC working with Master Teachers. 

Neenah lives in East County with her 3 dogs and 1 cat...she is animal lover! She loves to cook and spend time in nature walking her dogs and hiking.

Ms Kim 
Polar Bear Teacher

Ms. Kim joined our team in 2014 as a Teacher in our Polar Bear Room. For the past couple of years Kim has been a super helpful substitute teacher for us. Kim has rejoined our Polar Bear Room again and we are happy to have her back 5 days a week.  

Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Colorado College. She has over 24 Early Childhood Education units from Diablo Valley College. She lives in Walnut Creek with her family.

Nancy 
Substitute Teacher

Ms. Nancy joined the staff in 2008 and has worked with all our age groups; she has found her calling with our youngest children. Nancy received her certificate in Early Childhood Education from Diablo Valley College and continues to take early childhood education courses.

​Nancy has two grown children.  In her leisure time, Nancy and her husband enjoy traveling and spending time in the mountains. Nancy is an active member of the United Methodist Church and currently is on the Board of Trustees.
